FEMA Equivalent Task Force Safety Officers Course

 

Course will be open to the Virginia Fire and Emergency Medical Services Safety Officers, Virginia Search and Technical Rescue Teams,   SUSAR, Out-of-State Search and Technical Rescue Teams and FEMA USAR personnel.

 

A completed registration form is required for each student (see attached).

 

Registration windows for the above groups are listed below:

 

• Virginia Personnel have preferred registration between July 1, and July 31, 2010. 

• SUSAR Members and Out-of State Search and Technical Rescue Team Personnel may register between August 1 and August 15, 2010.

• FEMA USAR may register between August 16 and September 1, 2010.

 

Pre-registrations can be sent in prior to the above dates, but will not be slotted and confirmed until the first day of the registration window for the particular groups.

Cost: $800.00 per student (Only Checks will be accepted for payment)

Cancellation is required by September 13, 2010 in order to get a full refund.

A 15% cancellation fee will be assessed after September 13, 2010.

No refund will be provided for failure to cancel as indicated above or for no shows.

 

Current FEMA Curriculum will be utilized and presented by FEMA Certified Instructors

Note: Class size limited to 40 students maximum and a minimum of 24 students must be registered with committed funds (by Check Only). In order to hold class slots, checks are must be post marked by the last date of the registration window for the group you are representing.
